Esteban Tolj was born in the city of Rosario, Argentina in 1964. As many of us, he started drawing before learning to write. On account of this, at the age of five years old, and impressed by the landing of the Apollo 11 on the moon, he made his first artwork, which depicted this milestone in the history of humankind. Then, at school, his notebooks were all illustrated and they looked like the children´s magazines of that time.  As he grew up, films and TV were important sources of inspiration in his life ,and as  a young man, his passion for drawing became his profession. He had illustrated books for children, school handbooks, comics  and he has animated his own cartoons.  Some of his independent animation films have been awarded in festivals of national and international scope. For him, it is a great pleasure to provide his illustrations with special atmospheres and a touch of humour. His favourite hobbies are watching movies, listening to music, reading books, taking walks in nature and cooking delicious recipes.
